Kennedy's for Obama

Following Obama's big win in the South Carolina Primary, Caroline Kennedy and Edward M. Kennedy have publicly endorsed Obama.

Caroline Kennedy announced her endorsement to the New York Times this past weekend saying, "I’ve been deeply moved by the people who have told me they wished they could feel inspired and hopeful about America the way people did when my father was president. This sense is even more profound today. That is why I am supporting a presidential candidate in the Democratic primaries, Barack Obama."

Edward Kennedy is set to make his announcement today saying to MSNBC, "[Obama] is a man with extraordinary gifts of leadership and character." He is set to officially announce his support of the Obama campaign later on this evening.
This is a huge endorsement for Obama and will greatly influence not only the public's voting decision before "Super Tuesday" but also the delegates. The Kennedy family has always been seen as the respectable vote. This is a big slap in the face for the Clinton's. Ted Kennedy has gone on record as saying he does not approve of the Clinton's campaign strategies.
